Dr. Ajit Das, MPEd, MPhil, PhD, is an Assistant Professor of PN Das College, Palta in the Department of Physical Education under West Bengal State University, Barasat. He worked as Assistant Teacher of Physical Education in Matikole Charu Chandra Smriti Vidyamandir for twelve years. He is a former member of Guest faculty, Department of Physical Education, Dhruba Chand Halder College, Dakshin Barasat and Acharya Prafulla Chandra College, New Barrackpur. He passed BPEd and MPEd from PGGIPE,  Banipur in 1997 and 2000 respectively. He was awarded MPhil degree in Health and Physical Education in 2008 by Annamalai University and PhD degree in Physical Education in 2012 by Kalyani University. He also received NIS Certificate in coaching (Football). He has attended many conference/workshop/seminars and contributed research publications. His research papers have also been published in various journals. He is a member of the Sports Board, West Bengal State University, Barasat. He has written so many books in the field of Physical Education and Yoga Education. He is the examiner for General Course (PEDG) in the West Bengal State University, Barasat.
